Session Themes:

  • Building white space is critical for leaders. Remember to Name it. Schedule it. Defend it. Talk about white space with your team and build it into your week. Notice how it affects your productivity and your energy.

  • Leadership competence includes adaptability, influence and discernment. Use the following questions to assess different situations:

    • Adaptability: Am I adjusting my approach as the situation changes?

    • Influence: Am I bringing people with me – without relying on authority?

    • Discernment- Have I made a clear call and empowered my team to make theirs?

Assignments:

  • Schedule your White Space block and protect it on your calendar

  • Apply the competence diagnostic to one challenge on your team and bring the insight to session 4

  • Take one action from your peer coaching conversation

  • Meet with your Accountability Partner to discuss your insights and actions
