Notice your auto responses and practice choosing your response through the pause.
Differentiate between productive and destructive conflict — focus on resolving issues, not assigning blame.
Communicate with Intention
If and when “take it offline” comes up, clarify next steps. Recognize when this fits, often it’s when we need to handle sensitive or detailed discussions productively.
Clarify: Who needs to be there? Who needs to know? When can we expect an update?
