A crucial conversation is one that is important with high stakes, differing points of view and emotion.
It’s human nature to go into survive and have a fight, flight, freeze response.
As leaders it’s important to recognize your own response and choose a path to create dialogue.
Healthy conflict is the goal and is built through care, candor, curiosity and honesty.
